HYWICOM, an industry-leading supplier of 800G/400G high-speed optical communication testing solutions, will showcase its acclaimed 800G (112G PAM4) optical module testing platform — FRAEO 8800, a four-port 800G Ethernet/OTN network tester specifically designed for 800G optical module testing, at the 24th China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE 2023). The TANGO 8000 focuses on network protocol analysis and DCO pluggable coherent optical module testing, supporting comprehensive 400G Ethernet and OTN optical transmission protocol testing and analysis. It features powerful service testing capabilities, including RFC-2544 protocol testing, various Ethernet/OTN alarm monitoring and insertion, delay measurement, service disruption time (SDT) measurement, and more. It is the best testing platform for 400G Ethernet/OTN and DCO coherent optical modules. The TANGO 8000 has completed interoperability testing with mainstream vendors’ 100ZR/400ZR/ZR+/Open ROADM coherent optical modules, OTN optical transmission equipment, and data center interconnect DCI-Box, and is widely used by optical module manufacturers, communication equipment vendors, data centers, and telecom operators.

This year marks the inaugural year of 400G OTN optical transmission network construction. China Mobile will initiate the collective procurement of 400G transmission equipment by the end of this year, promoting the commercial use of 400G. As a member of the industry chain, HYWICOM will actively cooperate with operators and equipment vendors to perform procurement tests and contribute to the commercialization of 400G.

Additionally, HYWICOM will conduct joint on-site demonstrations with several partners at the exhibition, including MACOM, Coherent, AOI, Taclink, and POET. The demonstrations will showcase testing solutions for 800G OSFP800 / QSFP-DD800 optical modules and 400ZR/100ZR, CFP2-DCO coherent optical modules using FRAEO 8800 and TANGO 8000.
